This Year's Model Updates:

The 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid is all-new. The main difference between it and all other Camry models is that it has a gasoline/electric hybrid powertrain that is able to provide exceptional fuel economy. The Camry Hybrid also benefits from the 2007 Camry full redesign, as well.

Pros:
  • Roomy cabin, efficient hybrid powertrain, stronger acceleration than many regular four-cylinder family sedans.
Cons:
  • More expensive than most other Camry styles, small trunk.

  • 7000 miles in three months - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

I have owned a TCH for over three months, the mileage has been around 42 MPG on every tank since 2500 miles. It must have some brake in parts that take time to jell. It now runs on pure electric at 40 MPH on the flat and indicates over 60 MPG at 80 MPH on the flat. Great car and with the miles we put on it, the pay back will be quicker than the six years I estimated. The ride is not equal to the Volvos that we own, but the design is very quiet at speed. Ill keep mine until fuel cells are up and running.

I was not sure if I wanted to buy a camry hybrid after coming out of a lexus but now that I did ,I am glad I purchased the car. It has all the bells and whistles and it is comfortable to drive. I recommend this car to anyone.

Traded my 2004 Prius with 68000 trouble free miles for the Camry Hybrid. To date, have 25000 trouble free miles and getting 42 mpg, mostly highway driving. More room than the Prius and more comfort. Both great cars.

After owning my camry hybrid for not even three years, I have totally loved it until recently. My gps screen went black and I cant open my cd player but everything else works on it. Now Toyota is telling me they wont help with this expense even though its under 3 years old. Lost my confidence in toyota.

  • Best car ever - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

This is easily the best car Ive ever owned (Ive been driving Acuras for the past 10 years). It is good looking, extremely comfortable, and packed with every safety feature known to mankind. Handling is accurate and acceleration adequate for anything but the Indy 500. Mileage is outstanding, better than anything except the Prius and Civic Hybrid. I have found the EPA ratings to be quite achievable. In my opinion saving gas is a compelling civic duty.

  • Great Car!! - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

I have only had this car for a few weeks and my wife and I love it! We were on the waiting list for almost 2 months but it was worth the wait. The instant MPG feedback is great and we really like the keyless start. Now my wife doesnt have to take the key out of her pocketbook in order to start the car. The bluetooth phone system is also great. With a touch of a button we can call or answer a phone call. Our model is fully loaded so it came with the NAV. We are finding the NAV to be a little temperamental and the maps are not up to date. I was surprised it did not come with fog lights and seat position memory would have been nice. The mirrors also do not fold. Overall - we love it.

  • Awesome - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

This car has exceeded all expectations. I drive to maximize mileage, live in upstate NY where I am getting about 33 during the winter, 40 during the spring and fall and 36 in the summer. Because of the battery, truck is limited but fine for us. Absolutely amazing vehicle. Can run on battery at 40 mph and under and will almost always take advantage of electric when necessary.

  • All I Asked For - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Bought this car for my retirement. Wanted reliability, good gas mileage, low maintenance costs and comfort. This car has met every expectation. I buy gas once or twice a month, gets 35 mpg without effort, 40 mpg on hi-way or if I work at it. I change the oil every 5000 miles. ItÂ’s comfortable to drive. Only complaint is, original tires lasted 30K miles. Everything works as good as the day I drove it off the Lot.

  • My experience with a hybrid - 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Exceptionally fun car to drive. Extremely good gas mileage from 38 to 43 mpg on the road. Approximately 90% of the mileage on this car was highway miles. Has extended 100 thousand mile warranty on the vehicle and tires.
